Conference Planning – WSPPN Conferences
Walden organized a Western Sustainability and Pollution Prevention Network (WSPPN) conference in 2010 in San Diego attended by 100 pollution prevention service providers and state agencies from Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada.  The keynote speaker was reknown Joel Makower who runs the organization GreenBiz that has a significant online presence and hosts annual conferences for large corporations including the international VERGE conferences.

Walden was part of a group that negotiated a joint conference between WSPPN and the California Department of Resources Reycyling and Recovery (CalRecycle) for 2012 which was called the 2012 Used Oil + HHW + WSPPN Conference.

• Walden put together a taskforce to design the P2 & Emerging Issues Track which were two of four industry tracks at the conference.
• Participated in the organizing committee for conference
• Helped Design Graphics
• Over 300 persons attended this joint conference held in Sacramento, CA

For the the 2013 conference, Walden negotiated silver sponsorship status for WSPPN and designed a green chemistry 101 training and the entire P2 track for the conference.  There was a special awards ceremony held at the 2013 event to honor outstanding performance in household hazardous waste, used oil and pollution prevention.  Walden presented eight (8) WSPPN P2 awards for P2 Advocate of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Advocate for Support and Appreciation and several appreciation awards.

Conference Planning – P2 Industry Track for the California CUPA Forum

Walden organized the P2 Industry session track for the California Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) Forum in 2010, 2012 and 2013. This event is attended by more than 1,000 people each year.

For the 2013 CUPA-Forum held at the Hyatt Regency in Orange County, CA, as part of the WSPPN sponsored P2 Industry Track, Walden organized four two-hour sessions:

• MH-1 – The Auto Mechanical and Collision Repair Industries Post Recent VOC Change
• MH-2 – Update-California’s Paint Product Stewardship Program
• MH-3 – CalRecycle Electronic Waste (E-Waste) Program
• MH-4 – P2 Success Stories

Womanaire Extraordinaire(tm) Conference
Womanaire Extraordinaire™ was another innovative event organized and hosted by InThink. We provided intimate coaching, tools and business development strategies through the annual workshops/conference. Sponsors helped women in building the foundation of their business, speakers educated women in different areas of business where most women get stopped and all the women’s accomplishments and breakthroughs were celebrated at a formal black tie celebration.

This was not just any conference. Conference organizers provided a support team that offered services as soon as people registered and well beyond the conclusion of the event. Two Womanaire events were held by InThink in 2006 and 2007 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA.
