Walden Awarded P2 Volunteer of the Year 2013
Walden was named Pollution Prevention Volunteer of the Year 2013 by the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable, an annual MVP2 awards program designed to recognize outstanding and innovative pollution prevention (P2) projects and programs. Recognition was given to businesses and individuals at a Ceremony in Washington D.C.
Afterward, Walden met with Nevada Legislators on Capitol Hill. She met with Congresswoman Dina Titus (pictured right), Democrat for the first Congressional District of Nevada (Las Vegas region); and staffers for Senator Harry Reid and for Senator Dean Heller.
